A design platform for swift creation of dynamic, interactive prototypes, and animations. Offers API hardware access and ease in iterations.
Origami Studio is a powerful tool for design, animation, and prototyping. With the release of Origami Studio 3, users can expect a range of new features and improvements. The new canvas interface allows for freeform drawing tools, text editing, and visual components, making it easier than ever to visually layout prototypes. Dynamic layouts can be easily edited, as changes automatically respond, allowing for faster iterations. Quick interactions can be created by wiring up flows between screens with built-in present and dismiss animations. The Patch Editor allows users to build interactive components by combining visual layouts with powerful interactions. In addition, Origami Studio offers the ability to tap into native hardware APIs, unlocking hardware capabilities such as accessing the photo library, audio metering, haptic feedback, GPS data, and device motion. Working between Sketch and Figma is a breeze with easy import and export capabilities. Users can also record their prototypes, trim and export videos directly in Origami, and easily share prototypes using the Origami Live viewer. Performance improvements are a highlight of Origami Studio 3, with the Patch Editor being 4.5 times faster, the Origami Viewer being 2 times faster, and the Origami Live Viewer being 2.1 times faster. Overall, Origami Studio 3 is an all-in-one tool that empowers designers to create dynamic and interactive prototypes with ease.
